In September 1964, Fiat introduced the Fiat 850 N or 850 Normale. The Fiat 850 was manufactured by Italian automaker Fiat from 1964 to 1973. It was designed as an upgraded version of the popular Fiat 600 and was known for its compact size, good fuel economy, and sporty handling. The Fiat 850 was available in a variety of body styles, such as a two-door sedan, a two-door coupe, a convertible, a van, called Famigliaire and a 4 door sedan version produced by Seat. The Fiat 850 was powered by two types of engines, a 843cc inline-four engine and a 903cc inline-four engine. Despite its small size, the Fiat 850 was known for its lively performance and was a popular choice for racing enthusiasts. The convertible models were designed by Italian car design company Bertone and are highly sought after by collectors today.
