Initially the Fiat 500 and 126 come with a transverse leaf spring in the front. These leaf springs have the tendency to twist. This affects the handling of the car when driving it. To improve the handling and to eliminate the twisting you can install an improved suspension. The kit VA1053 uses the same mounting points as the original suspension.
